Vending machine burglary prevented by Cantaloupe Systems and Mesa PD

An attempted vending machine burglary was foiled again thanks to our use of Cantaloupe Systems and the Mesa Police Department!

On Monday, March 4th, two Mesa men attempted to break into two vending machines at Red Mountain High School. Ages 18 and 43, one man served as lookout while the other used a long steel bar to attempt to steal from the vending machines, which were encased in steel cages. Although the pair fled to nearby Red Mountain Park, they were caught and arrested by the Mesa PD. They will both face burglary and trespassing charges.

Many thanks to Cantaloupe Systems and the Mesa Police Department for helping Camelback Vending to keep our machines free of theft and allowing us to have them up and running before school started on Monday!
